The Department of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology at the University of Miami is strongly committed to excellence in both research and education. Comprised of approximately fifteen research groups and forty graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, the department has major areas of concentration in cardiovascular pharmacology, muscle physiology, neuropharmacology and neuroscience. research is conducted in state-of-the-art research facilities, which combined with collaborations between multiple programs, helps contribute to a rich and stimulating research environment.
