DNA Microarray Services

Overview

Researchers provide either tissue or cell samples (Start 1) or total RNA (Start 2) to the facility for a microarray run. If the amount of total RNA does not meet minimum requirements, the facility has the resources to amplify the RNA. All RNA samples undergo a quality control check via Agilent Bioanalyzer characterization. At this point some researchers may find that their RNA sample is not of sufficient quality for the following steps (End 1). Others, however, continue through to the final analysis steps (End 2).
