FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS

Graduate students working for the Ph.D. degree receive an annual stipend of $25,000 (effective June 1, 2008) and a full tuition waiver, as well as 80% of the cost of health insurance. Students who apply for and receive extramural fellowships are eligible for an additional $2,000/year bonus for the duration of the fellowship. Intramural fellowships are available for outstanding applicants. Travel scholarships (to national / international meetings or highly reputable training courses) are available to students in good standing upon recommendation of the mentor.
