Now, more than ever, a career in public health practice or research is a rewarding and important endeavor. The promotion of health and the prevention of disease is a vital undertaking for any society, both here at home and globally. At the University of Miami Master's Programs, we have as our mission the provision of robust education programs to practicing health professionals and to students new to the field, the conduct of research activities relevant to public health needs, and the provision of assistance to health agencies for the improvement of health promotion, disease prevention, and health education activities, as well as the analysis and management of health services.
