Masters Programs

The University of Miami offers a traditional and professional 45-credit Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree. A joint degree in public health and public health administration (M.P.A./M.P.H.) is offered through the School of Business Administration and the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health (D.E.P.H.). The School of Law and the D.E.P.H. collaborate to offer a J.D./M.P.H. and for students who are enrolled in the University of Miami School of Medicine, the department offers a combined M.D./M.P.H. A newly created Master of Science in Public Health (M.S.P.H.) places an additional emphasis on advanced research methods and quantitative analysis skills in order to prepare students for research or technical positions in government, industry, academia, or private institutions.
