Tuition & Financial Aid
Tuition and Financial Aid
Costs for the MiBS program are comparable to a year of undergraduate study at a reputable private university. Financial aid is available in the form of federal and private loans. Applicants will automatically be considered for a limited number of scholarships.
Tuition for MiBS for academic year 2018-2019 is $41,500.
Both federal and private educational loans will require that students complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The FAFSA will help lenders determine a student’s eligibility for aid and the amount of aid needed. State and institutional aid sources also require a completed FAFSA. Please refer to the Office of Graduate Professional Financial Assistance’s website for further loan information (including loan opportunities for international students).
The Office of Graduate Professional Financial Assistance also offers a step-by-step guide on applying for aid.
Graduate students enrolled full time at the University of Miami are required to obtain adequate health insurance. There is a student health insurance plan available through the university. The annual premium for the health insurance plan offered through the Student Health Service is added to each student’s fees at the start of the Academic Year.
US citizens and permanent residents with adequate health insurance, may request to waive the insurance fee via CaneLink.
