QUALIFICATIONS

All applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States and hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Florida residency is not required for admission to the MD/PhD Program. Competitive applicants usually have a cumulative undergraduate science G.P.A. of at least 3.4 and a composite score of at least 32 on the MCAT exam. Candidates must provide tangible evidence of a commitment to biomedical research, substantial laboratory or other relevant research experience and scientific talent. Applications from under-represented minorities and women are encouraged.
