Short Term Research Training Available for Medical Students.
The Department of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology has several short-term research training positions funded by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute that will be available during the summer break for interested medical students. A stipend of $3,328 per term will be distributed with the position, and participants are encouraged to do two terms. Research will be conducted in the lab of one of the training grant faculty members in pharmacology, physiology, or cell biology. The opportunity is open to any current American medical student.
